Our Animation Team, lead by Faith Dickey, came together and produced great progress in final 2D animation! The start of the Fall quarter introduced assignment handouts and weekly team feedback sessions. The team was very responsive and made adjustments whenever they were asked. After a few more consistency checks over the last couple of weeks, we are making progress on the final 2D animation and began achieving advances in compositing and effects animation. We put together what you see below.
Since Fall Quarter began, our leads took responsibility and led the team. Our Lead Traditional Animator, Alanna Johnson, has been supervising the 2D Animators and provided feedback to work in progress. Lead Compositor, Henry Zhinin, worked with lead 2D FX artist, Salem Zigweid to create test shots to help find the final look of the film.
We also began our Rig tests and 2D animation tests. While we continue to pave our path until the next phase, enjoy what our team has been working hard on!
